Juventus have named ex- Azzurri boss the veteran manager to take the helm until the end of the season.
The experienced coach takes over from his predecessor, who was dismissed post the Lazio setback on Sunday.
Tudor had joined the club in March as Thiago Motta's replacement but exited following a seven-month stint at the end of an eight-match winless run.
Under Spalletti, Napoli clinched the Serie A championship in 2022-23 before taking charge of Italy, who had failed to qualify for the 2022 World Cup under former boss Roberto Mancini.
Under his guidance, they made it to Euro 2024 where they were knocked out in the last 16 by Switzerland.
However, Spalletti was sacked by Italy in June following a loss to Norway in World Cup qualifying, with the Azzurri at risk of missing out on a third consecutive World Cup.
He has previously coached Inter Milan, Roma, and Udinese in Italy's top flight and lifted the Russian league trophy twice while at Zenit St Petersburg.
Juventus were temporarily led by Massimo Brambilla for their 3-1 win against Udinese on Wednesday placing them seventh in the Serie A standings - trailing leaders Napoli by six points after nine matches.
Their Champions League campaign sees them in 25th place in the group stage, after recording one defeat and two ties in the initial three fixtures.
